Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves

The Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves are natural underground steam baths where hot mineral waters flow through the cave floors at 125 degrees Fahrenheit to create the natural geothermal steam baths. Ute Indians who originally inhabited this area visited the caves for centuries had deemed the caves as a sacred area and a place of healing and rejuvenation. The caves purify the body and spirit while soothing away pains and are the only known natural vapor caves in North America.
In addition to the Vapor caves, the Yampah Spa offers a full range of contemporary health and beauty treatments to rejuvenate the body and soul.
Body treatments, including herbal wraps, body mud wraps, herbal loofa rubs and salt glow rubs are also available. The spa offers complete personal care for hair, face, skin, nails and waxing. Massage therapists certified in Swedish massage techniques and utilizing acupressure and foot reflexology are a wonderful personal indulgence.
