We are located in the spectacular Glenwood Canyon on the banks of the Colorado River. You can find something for everyone here at the Glenwood Canyon Resort, from lodging and rafting, to biking hiking and group rates to Glenwood Caverns Adventure park and the World Famous Hot Springs
To help with your lodging needs, Glenwood Canyon Resort offers several options including our beautiful Resort Cabins, Camper Cabins, RV sites, and tent sites on the Colorado River. The Resort Cabins come equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, luxurious living space and a spacious deck to enjoy the refreshing Colorado mountain air.
These new cabins can accommodate six people comfortably. Our Camper Cabins are great for families who also enjoy cabin accommodations, but are watching their budget. These cabins sleep a family of four with a double bed and bunk bed. You’ll discover the beauty of Glenwood Canyon right outside your cabin door. If, however, there are true outdoorsmen in the family, Glenwood Canyon Resort can accommodate them too. The RV and tent sites at Glenwood Canyon Resort are set in the natural beauty of the Canyon right on the banks of the Colorado River!
Keeping your family active and satisfying everyone’s needs is not always easy, but Rock Gardens is here to help. The possibilities at our resort are endless! One of the most popular activities in and around Glenwood Springs is whitewater rafting. Rock Gardens Rafting has exciting trips for all ages and abilities. The most popular adventure Rock Gardens offers is our half-day whitewater raft trip. Guests raft through thrilling class III whitewater in a gorgeous Colorado canyon setting. This half-day adventure lasts about three hours and is offered four times throughout the day.
If you are looking for an all day adventure in which to enjoy the Colorado outdoors, we offer full day raft trips as well as multi-adventure trips. After experiencing the whitewater of the Colorado River, you can take to dry land and absorb the beauty of the Canyon on the Glenwood Canyon paved bike path, which is right outside our door. The infamous Hanging Lake hiking trail is also less than a five-minute drive or a five-mile bike ride from our facility.
Glenwood Canyon Resort is less than two miles from town. Finding things in town to satisfy everyone’s interests is also very easy. In Glenwood Springs you will find many restaurants and shops to suit everyone’s tastes. For those interested in relaxing, there is the World Famous Hot Springs Pool, which is a great place to rest after a hard day of playing. You might also unwind at one of the town’s spa facilities. New to the Glenwood area is Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Here you can ride to the top of Iron Mountain and then enjoy the historic fairy caves and other adventure rides. You might even enjoy a sunset dinner on top of the mountain before you return to the resort. All are great family outings!
